 A powerhouse vocalist, Donna’s brilliance manifests amazing stylistic diversity. From R&B ballads to hot dance tunes, her sultry voice caresses every melody, as she whispers, belts and hollers in the best soul tradition. Born in Key West and raised in Tampa, where she was a Tampa Bay Buccaneer cheerleader, Donna launched her career in the ‘80s as a backup vocalist with Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine. She received numerous accolades in the late ‘80s with her hit single, "Serious" (#20 on the Pop charts and #5 on the R&B charts), from her first album “Perfect Timing.” Donna’s second hit was "Real,” produced by Jon Secada and Emilio Estefan, for Sylvester Stallone’s film “The Specialist.” Donna’s most recent recording “ He Is Joy “ written and produce by, Mark Pomeroy & Brian Tappert of Soul Furic Productions. Is in the Oscar nominated movie “Precious”. And Oprah Winfrey/Tyler Perry Production. Oscar nominated director, Mr. Lee Daniels, and Oscar nominated actresses, Mo’Nique & Gabourey Sidibe. Now that’s what I call….. GOD’S UNPRECEDENTED FAVOR!!!! I have to give God all the praise and glory. He Is Worthy!!! She has also worked with numerous other recording artists, including Shakira, Jon Secada and Jennifer Lopez. It was during her nine years of touring with Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine that Donna began creating her own music and is now on her way to fulfill her dream of a soulful Gospel album.
